Take an en plein air sketching adventure on Eagles Nest

Do you want to try something new?

Join local artist and plein air enthusiast, John Christie, for a morning of sketching in beautiful Eagles Nest Park in Bancroft.

This outdoor opportunity has been designed for beginners so no need to feel concerned that your skills are not yet fully developed.

This en plein air sketching will give new inspiration to budding artists in the amazing backdrop of Eagles Nest Park. There are vistas to sketch, a variety of interesting flora and fauna and lots of lichen covered rock. Something is bound to capture your imagination.

Sketching supplies will be provided, but if you prefer to bring your own, that is fine too.

Two separate sessions have been scheduled, one on June 27, and the other on August 29, both running from 10 a.m. to noon. Bring along sturdy footwear, water, a folding chair and a snack if you wish. Meet at the upper parking area by the main kiosks and washroom facilities.

This adventure is free, but registration is required on Eventbrite as numbers are limited to ensure the enjoyment of all. Visit https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/en-plein-air-sketching-adventure-on-eagles-nest-tickets-643277920577 to register.
