Do you want to leave a legacy that will last generations? Join Dave Naulls on some of the trails he designed and built in Bancroft’ Eagles Nest Park to gain first-hand knowledge about the basics of sustainable trail building, trail risk management and liability.
Building sustainable trails is a mix of science and art. The science part is managing erosion, compaction, environmental best practices, and user safety. The art part is about making the trail interesting and fun to be on.
Meet at the lower parking level near the top of Eagles Nest on September 16 at 10 a.m. Bring your own water and lunch or snack. Event ends about 2 p.m.
